Meet Dr. Jungjin Kim
Jungjin Kim, MD is a triple board-certified psychiatrist, specializing in addiction, forensic psychiatry, and performance-focused care. He specializes in the functional addict, the high-performing leader whose private struggles with substance use, identity, and depletion can no longer be sustained in silence.
Dr. Kim works with these leaders — as well as the spouses, families, and advisors who are often the first to notice — to restore alignment between their public lives and private realities. This allows them to protect their health, their families, and their careers without stepping away from any of them. His private practice serves physicians, attorneys, pilots, executives, and other high-functioning professionals navigating recovery, burnout, or high-stakes transitions.
Combining evidence-based pharmacology, psychotherapy, and personalized coaching informed by neuroscience, the humanities, and metabolic health. Dr. Kim completed his psychiatry residency at Emory University, a forensic psychiatry fellowship at SUNY, and an addiction psychiatry fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, with additional training in forensic evaluation and negotiation and conflict resolution from Harvard Law School. His clinical expertise spans dual diagnosis care, expert witness evaluations, complex case consultations, and cognitive optimization for elite performers.
